[It's weird how I believe that all content on here is good and purposeful no matter what it is, and yet when it comes to my actual content I worry about that. But no longer! I'm young enough to where if whatever I make is crap, you can still kinda defend it as "ehhh well he's still young" lol.]

Growth, this website is constantly promoting artistic growth. Seeing young people evolve and become pillars of creative integrity is beautiful. The only other place I've seen the same drive was in art school. It was a place where young people arrived and inspired one another to lead and invent. A few older kooks would push the class in a direction with technique or knowledge but Uni always felt like it was driven by the undergrads insane hustle to find purpose and survive.

Newgrounds isn't so different. In regards to what you said about all content having a purpose, it goes back to growth. In our attempts to find meaning or purpose we share our inventions with other creatives that might host similar feelings and ideas. We constantly inspire each other, which is why even a basic sketch can carry the potential to bridge a friendship or enkindle a journey. Every creative work is a proclamation that we exist and that we desire to find or give meaning to our hustle. It takes hundreds or thousands of drawings to become an expert at drawing but each mark catalogues a desire to exist, create, and define. A drawing or a work of art is posterity left for others to evaluate.

Hope you enjoyed your time in Colorado :)
