One of the better dress up games I've played on here, the art is wonderful and the animations are probably the best I've seen in a dress up game. It's a pretty cute spinoff of Dead Estate and it did it's job well because I didn't even know Dead Estate was coming to Steam until now, so good job!

When you first look at a ZabuJard game, you may shrug it off as some weird spam submission that's somewhat playable. This is not the case.

You see, ZabuJard's submissions are perfect because they are that of pure rebellion against the Newgrounds system. Look through his games and you'll see he uses current trends (Among Us, Politics, Porn) in his games solely because he knows people will click it. It doesn't matter how garbage it may look on the outside, if you use these products of our time, it will get clicks. And ZabuJard obviously doesn't care much for these recent trends (look at "AMONG US RUINED MY LIFE"), he's simply criticizing them in his strange avant garde-like way. ZabuJard's submissions are a product of the current time we're living in, and when we're old and grey we can look at these submissions to remember what 2020 was like.

This specific submission, although probably unintended, does tell a great message. You see, when you disguise these killers in huge glasses and big hats, they don't look like themselves anymore. They look like.... someone else completely. It's a message on how even if someone doesn't look like a killer, they could still be capable of such horrible things.

I've been a bystander for a while, looking at each of your submissions to get a better understanding of them, and I think I'm finally ready to review one of these bad boys. I give this submission 5/5 stars, it is the perfect spam and it's a great reminder of the world we live in.

HAHAHAHAHHA GREAT REVIEW THANK U LAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty fun game, but it doesn't seem cropped correctly. Let me know if you don't know what I mean by that or if you're not seeing what I see and I'll PM you with screenshots of what I see. If you fix the cropping, I'll give you a higher score!

I really do like the game concept, and I'd hate to see the score for it suffer because of the bad cropping.

EDIT: It works now, thank you!

EricDanneskjold responds:

the crop is fine for me, but I'd like to see what you are seeing.

I'm assuming I'm supposed to be getting that weird text screen? Just making sure, I'm set on getting all the medals for the ADVENTure calendar this year because I missed them the previous years and I'd hate to miss on one because of that ;-;

Still voting 5 regardless, I saw some of the art on Twitter and it looks great!!

EDIT: The weird text screen was apparently because I was using Brave, my bad.

BrandyBuizel responds:

You can always go back and earn those previous game medals this year!

What an adorable game! I absolutely loved trying to make everyone happy, it wasn't challenging at all but it definitely required a little bit of thinking and a whole lot of creative. Great job!

This is exactly what I look for in a game on Newgrounds! A collaboration between multiple artists to make something that they think would be cool. The result is absolutely wonderful, and I can tell that an equal amount of love and skill went into this game. Everyone involved did such a great job in there own right!
The only bad thing about it is the spike of difficulty, I don't feel that the game really eases you into each level and prepare you for the next level as well as it should. I didn't think that was enough of a con to dock any points, though, because it just adds to the replayability of the game!
As for things I'd like added, I think more Newgrounds character cameos like the cameo of Sr Pelo's "Spooky Boys" would be cool. If I had to suggest any characters, I'd suggest Ritz the Rat from MKMaffo's game since half of the people who worked on this game worked on that game, and maybe Tyrone from FDA too as a little callback to early Newgrounds.
Overall, great job to everyone involved!

This game was pretty ahead of it's time, I'd say, considering how big "scene creators" were in 2008-2011.
Still, though, this game isn't great. Although I suppose that all depends on how creative you're able to get with it. Bonus points for being very obviously from the year 2000.

Pretty dang cool game, and a great idea!

Pretty alright game, I understand you've never coded before and this is a nice little homage to a game genre that was once very popular on this site.

There were a few things I felt were missing, though. More different hair options would be pretty cool to have, and I wish you were able to use different eyes with different mouths if that makes sense. I also wish there were more outfits, maybe more references to other popular or iconic Newgrounds flashes from different time periods and whatnot. I'm not gonna judge it too harshly, but if you ever decide to make a sequel you should include these things.

Overall, a fun little nifty game! :)

Sadly, I think the transfer to HTML fucked this game over. The game is still available on Kongregate though, and it was pretty damn nice for a Museum game. Tons of Newgrounds nostalgia.
